The Fundy Discovery Site aspires to celebrate the phenomenal Bay of Fundy (home of the highest tides in the world!) and the powerful forces that have shaped this diverse tidal and cultural landscape. Here at the head of the Bay, you can view the tidal bore which occurs on the Salmon River twice daily at predicted times. Meet our friendly staff at the Visitor Information Centre who enjoy meeting people from near and far and telling them about the incredible Bay of Fundy and the many exciting things to see and do in the area. Bicycle or walk on the Cobequid Trail, explore the natural playground, and enjoy a picnic or a sunset.
