The Rural Roots Market, open Sundays from June 2 to Sept 29 from 10 am - 2 pm, is a vibrant farm market located at the entrance to Ross Farm Museum in New Ross, Nova Scotia. The Rural Roots Market is owned by the not-for-profit Rural Roots Market Society. Through Rural Roots Market, the Society aims to:
• Offer local growers, makers and bakers the opportunity to sell their products to a new consumer market in the New Ross area;
​• Create an educational opportunity around food security;
• Create a fresh market experience that will draw new people to the New Ross area, enhance the farm food experience and act as an incubator for local businesses.
